nice glove JZ Parent

Pros: beautiful glove, clean

Cons: takes a month or two break in. Pedroia must be a small guy; fits my 12 year perfectly but would be too small for any adult and probably a high schooler.

It’s ok Seth Parent

Pros: Quality

Cons: Won’t make a deep enough pocket. Had it for over a year and still anyone that uses it struggles if the throw isn’t perfect.

Looks great, but.... JB Coach

Pros: Great looking glove with high quality leather.

Cons: Very small/tight fit that is difficult to break in. Most uncomfortable is the Velcro strap over the hand - it cuts into top of hand and is very uncomfortable.

Great Glove Scot Duncan Parent

Pros: We received the glove earlier than expected. It appears to be breaking in very nicely and we expect it to last for several seasons. The adjustable wrist strap is very handy.

Cons: The Pedroia fit is a little more snug than I was expecting. My son is 10 and he has had to loosen the wrist strap a little. Despite this, he has plenty of room to grow into it.

Terrible. Absolute terrible glove. James Coach

Pros: Looks very, very clean. The super skin is very soft.

Cons: Had this glove for 2 years and it still isn't broke in yet. I've tried everything shaving cream, ball with a bungee cord, pounding it several times, and a steaming machine. The wrist is very uncomfortable and tight. I have to constantly open and close the wrist. Not big enough of a pocket. Wilson claims that they make the best glove in the world. Get an All Star or a Rawlings which are both way better of a value and will last you longer.

Hard to break in Joe S. Coach

Pros: Great looking glove

Cons: I cannot get this glove broken in. We have worked with it and worked with it. I am an experienced baseball coach who has broken in many gloves over the years. Nothing I do helps. I would not recommend this model A2000.

Beautiful Glove CT Coach

Pros: Very nice glove. the craftsmanship is excellent. The fit is perfect for my 10 yr old player. I had the glove steamed by JG. The break-in took about 2 weeks. but the glove is awesome. All the kids on our All Star travel team want to use the glove. I followed Wilsons break in videos and the pocket came out deep and soft. We are extremely happy with this glove. I wish I could post a picture of before and after break in. NOTE: This is not a glove for Normal Adult hands. PF means Pedroia Fit this glove is perfect for the YOUTH player looking to have a quality catchers mitt

Cons: I'm not really a fan of the Blonde leather or the price. But that's just nit-picking. this is an awesome glove worth every penny.

Wilson a2000 Derek Parent

Pros: The mitt is great quality should last years. If you have a youth player the hand opening is smaller. The pocket is nice. Overall great product.

Cons: If you are an adult or larger youth player this mitt probably isn’t for you.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Wilson A2000 Pedroia Fit 33.00" Baseball Catcher's Mitt: WTA20RB19PFCM33? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Is this a youth model? art
The Wilson A2000 Pedroia Fit 33.00" Baseball Glove: WTA20RB19PFCM33 Catcher's Mitt will be an adult model with a Pedroia Fit, which will secure the hand in the glove more. This can be used for more youth players, 10 and above, but it will take some time to break in.
Max
Noticing the shape of the glove, can it be formed more into the box like shape of maybe an All-Star mitt? Brady
The Wilson A2000 Pedroia Fit 33.00" Baseball Glove: WTA20RB19PFCM33 Catcher's Mitt could be formed to a more box like shape, compare to an AllStar.
Max
Would this glove be uncomfortable for an adult with average to above average hand size? Michael
This A2000 Pedroia Fit would most likely be a bit too snug for someone with above average hand sizes. Some players do prefer a snug fit, and all gloves do loosen slightly over time as the leather breaks in.
Kyle
My son is a 10U catcher. His team played 62 games last season and he caught 50 of those games using a youth series Akedema mitt, which we are very pleased with. Moving forward I would like to buy him a mitt that he can use for years to come while also having a backup in case he would need it. Is the Pedroia Fit A2000 going to be to big for him at a 10U level? I have no problem going with another Akedema if this mitt is not the correct fit. Jonathan Blanton
Although the Wilson A2000 Pedroia Fit 33.00" Baseball Glove: WTA20RB19PFCM33 Catcher's Mitt may be a little bigger than what most 10U catcher's would use, there is certainly nothing wrong with going to a bigger mitt if the player is comfortable with that. An A2000 is an excellent mitt to consider and would serve a catcher well who is playing 50+ games a year.
Cameron
My son is a freshman. He is 5’9” 135lbs.. I would say his hands are average size for his height and weight. Looking for feedback if this glove would fit him. Dan
The Wilson A2000 Pedroia Fit 33.00" Baseball Glove: WTA20RB19PFCM33 Catcher's Mitt would be a great option for your son and should fit his hand at his size.
Patrick
My son is almost 11 and has been using my old 34” catching mitt. I would like to get him his own mitt that will last a few years. He is small for his age, but has done well with the larger mitt. I am considering this mitt and the Rawlings Heart of the Hide R2G 33" Catcher's Mitt: PRORCM33-23BC. Would you recommend one or the other (or another)? Graham Blackwell
The Wilson A2000 Pedroia Fit 33.00" Baseball Catcher's Mitt: WTA20RB19PFCM33 would work well for a younger player that prefers a bigger mitt. The Pedroia fit will offer a smaller wrist opening with tighter finger stalls for a more secure fit for the youth player.
