Description
Vinci Pro baseball gloves are the finest handcrafted gloves on the market and are designed with quality in mind. You can have the same quality the professionals wear with a Vinci. Individually handcrafted by Master Craftsman with years of experience and training The Custom Pro Junior Series utilizes pro patterned gloves with pro-grade leather palms. On the back of each Vinci glove, they utilized lightweight softer leather for a lighter weight for a child and "ease of squeeze" for the youth player. Our Custom Pro Junior Series leather is pre-treated at the factory allowing for a much shorter break in time. Our high-quality leather allows our gloves to be durable, yet playable and retain their shape longer. Vinci exclusive deep pocket design allows for better control and less spin. They also come with a heavy-duty thumb. More than just a glove, every model number, and signature has a meaning. Each Vinci Pro model is dedicated to Benjamin Vinci, a father, a grandfather, and WWII Veteran who left a great impact on so many people. You can find Benjamin Vinci's signature on every Vinci baseball glove we make. He is the reason behind this company, so when you use a Vinci Pro baseball glove, know that the story behind your glove is the story of an American hero. Put on a Vinci Pro glove and "Make the Play!" Pros: My five year old looks and feels like a mlb player with this glove
Cons:
Pros: Bought one for my eight year old. He's very small for his age and this glove is perfect. It's a real baseball glove and he absolutely loves it.
Cons: More break-in time than other kids gloves.
Pros: I bought this glove for my 3 1/2 year old who considers himself a very serious ball player already. His entry level 9" Franklin glove was becoming a frustration for him with it's rolled edge at the top of the web, so we decided to take the plunge and upgrade to a bit larger, nicer quality glove he could grow with for awhile. I am SO happy with this purchase! The Vinci is truly the highest quality youth glove I have ever seen; the materials and workmanship are excellent and it is breaking in very easily. He LOVES it--couldn't wait to show it to his coach--and I can see it lasting him for several seasons to come. We will definitely buy a Vinci again...I only wish I had found these gloves before buying my own new Rawlings! It's nice, but my son's glove is nicer!
Cons: The only possible con is that I do not believe this glove has any extra shock padding in the palm. Not really a problem for a three year old, but for kids at a higher level, it may not protect as well as some from hand sting.
Pros: Excellent quality glove for player 5-8. I purchased 10.5" for my 6 year old over a year ago and it is great. It's much better quality than what you would be otherwise be paying a bit less for in other brands. My son plays year round and we expect to get a full 2nd season out of it before he just needs to move up to the next size.
Cons: Our glove came fresh out of the factory and did take a bit to break in. However, this is true for pretty much any better quality glove. I've heard other players however have much less break-in time. Either way it is worth it.
Pros: Purchased glove for my 7 year old after buying Pro II series and pro series glove. Very impressed with the quality of the glove. It is very light which allows my son to easily manage the glove. Required all not break in. I would also say that having purchased other "easy close" gloves this one beats those by far and is cheaper!!
Cons: None
Pros: Great glove! My 7 year old plays rec. league and select baseball, so he plays many different positions. "Buttery" soft leather helps small hands squeeze the ball. Get the conditioner and use it every so often to keep it soft and looking new.
Cons: None.
Pros: Looks and feels just like an adult glove. Leather is strong and high quality. Glove is lightweight for this type of leather and lace.
Cons: Due to the high quality leather, might take some time to break in. Just got to massage the glove with some oil at first then should be good to go.
Pros: Great quality glove with small finger slots to fit small hands
Cons: My son is almost 7 and is the smallest player on his team. This glove is already too small for him. For some reason it seems this glove "plays" smaller than other 10" gloves. We have since upgraded to a Wilson A500 11" model
Pros: Better than most Youth Gloves. Has protection for higher velocity throws.
Cons: The Glove does not really break in. it also does not have a deep enough pocket.
Pros: Well made glove that broke in quick and was easy to close. My 6yr old has used this glove for 2 seasons now and it's still in good shape. It's time to go up a size so I took him to a couple of stores to try on some other gloves. He didn't like any of them so I am ordering the same glove again in a bigger size. Highly recommend!
Cons: None.
Pros: all leather, soft, fits small hands for 5 to 6 year old.
Cons: none
Pros: Nice looking, easy to break in.
Cons: This fabric that holds all of the fingers, bunches up at the palm and leaves a bulbous area and the fingerslots don't even lead to the actual fingers of the glove. If I don't consistently check his glove, his fingers don't even go inside the actual glove fingers, they just stick in the palm where all of the fabric is bunched up. This obviously is a big problem when he tries to put the mitt on and catch a ball. My only solution is to bring a smooth stick that I use to insert into the fingers and force the fabric back up inside the actual leather finger slots in the glove when I notice the fabric has pulled out again. I read the reviews and expected to love this glove, but at this point, I wouldn't recommend purchasing it.
Pros: Bought for 5 year old and it's perfect. High quality and big enough to actually catch a ball. Real leather.
Cons: Laces may be a little light, but fit glove. No complaints.
Pros: After reading the other reviews, I thought this would be perfect for my small 8yr old...I may be looking for a new glove. Good quality leather, comes with oil.
Cons: Long break in period Thumb is weak, and gets worse as it breaks in. Ball just falls out, with no support. (Again, smaller hand). Compared it to a brand new one, and that also had a weak thumb.
