Is this made from Tabacco leather like the other ones? Is it higher quality? Jt
I was a catcher and have finally decided to retire my mitt that is about 50 years old! It was a gift from a professional player and not only did I enjoy using it, but I kept it very close and maintained it all these years. My grandsons now play and two are pitchers. The older one throws rather fast and hard. I want to continue to catch for them as long as the knees will hold up and have looked at this shoeless joe pro select as well as the other shoeless joe priced at $189.00 I have also considered the nokona 33" mitt as well as the 2017 walnut mitt. I need something with good padding for the index finger and the joints where the fingers meet the palm. My old mitt was a 33" with a closed two piece web, so that is what I am used to. Can you rate the mitts I have mentioned and make a recommendation? Also, if there is another that meets my criteria and that will hold up for several years, I will take a look at it. Catcher Jim

Our gloves are then hand-rubbed with old time ingredients to soften the leather before they go through our breaking in process that leaves the Glove with a beaten up and “Game Worn™” look and feel, of a broken in glove. Thus each glove is unstructured giving its own unique feature.
