Description
Marucci youth gloves combine a game ready feel with big league tested and the player advisory board approved web designs. The RS225 series is composed of fielding baseball gloves that are guaranteed to give youth players the confidence they need to excel on defense. With a soft, tumbled cowhide leather, these baseball gloves are very durable and will hold their shape for multiple seasons, without fail. Since these are recommended for youth players, the wrist strap will be smaller, the hand opening will be tighter, and the finger stalls will be scaled down to create a more snug fit on a younger athletes' hand. Inside of each model, Marucci has applied fabric finger back linings to provide a fantastic overall feel. On the outside, professional USA tanned lace helps hold these youth baseball gloves together and ensure a long lasting shape. Marucci: Honor The Game!

Pros: Solid construction, the feel is very good, has the feel & smell of quality leather, easy to break in. Purchased this for my 7YO, fits his hand well.
Cons: Wish the fur in the glove was black instead of white. The white will show dirt in no time.
Great glove Tracie Parent
Pros: Came game ready! My son was able to take it right out of the box use it at practice that night then in his game next day! Great fit and quality!
Cons: None yet
Awesome glove Eric Player
Pros: Bought for my 9 year old daughter. I didn't want her getting frustrated with a glove that's hard to break-in and she gives up before she begins. I was able to teach her to catch in one evening after school because the glove was great right out of the box. A few evenings wrapped up with a ball in the pocket and the gloves lays flat on it's own. Very happy daughter and very happy father.
Cons: none

Looking for a good, quality glove for my soon to be seven-year-old. Would you recommend this glove, or do you think it will be too big and tough to break in for small hands? Craig
My son is almost 7, I'm trying to decide between the Marucci RS225 11" youth baseball glove and the Mizuno Classic Future 11.25" youth baseball glove. I am looking for something that he can use this year as well as the next 3-4 years. Any suggestions? Glove dad
My son is 7 yrs old now, he will be 8 in a few months. He is really advanced for his age and plays shortstop with the bigger kids, 9-10 yrs, which requires a good glove. The previous glove he used was the Mizuno 10.5" prospect glove. I would like to move him to 11", is this glove the right choice? DD1
What is weight on this glove? Jonathan
My son has liked the finger stalls in the Vinci Youth Gloves - we are having trouble finding stalls in other gloves that are as small and fit his hands as well. We bought a AZR95 Akadema and his hand is not long enough to control the glove well. We are trying to find a better quality glove that fits his hand well. Where does the Marucci RS225 compare to the Vinci Youth? Glenn
I was going to purchase this glove for my just turned 6 year old who is playing competitive 7u/travel ball, but you are out of the Left Hand Thrower. Would you suggest going up to the 11.25 (MFGRS1125SP)? I want to be sure the glove is not too big for him, but am unsure the significance in the .25" size difference. Steve
