The Acadia Series from Marucci is going to deliver an exceptional mitt for young players looking for some quality leather -and- one that can pick it all over the diamond!
The mitt's hand fitting is going to be designed more for a player that hasn't quite reached their teenage years and the inside of the mitt will deliver the quality that you expect to see from Marucci products. The palm lining on the inside of the mitt will be made of leather, plus it will be extra soft with added protection for the glove hand. Also on the inside of the mitt will be a microfiber wrist backing and finger linings. The presence of the microfiber materials on the inside of the mitt should help keep the mitt lightweight & soft (and thus easier to break in).
This mitt will be able to hold it down behind the dish for young catchers. If you have a young backstop who wants quality piece of leather, then go for the Acadia Series!
