Description
Known for their catcher's mitts, All Star has brought the same quality to the rest of the diamond with their System Seven Series. These gloves draw from the success of their mitts and use the same high quality leather found on their popular CM3000 model. This Japanese Maruhashi Black and Tan leather has distinct properties that allow these gloves to break in fast and have long-lasting durability. The tan leather on these gloves helps it to break in fast and form a great pocket. The black leather's stiffer feel provides the support needed for a long lasting glove. Inside, All Star's Pro Guard Padding provides a thin layer of extra padding in the palm that helps kill the sting of miscaught balls, yet is thin enough to still allow the player to know right where the ball is in the glove. This 12.75 Inch pattern features an conventional open back and a long, deep pocket. Its six finger web is perfect for snagging fly balls or line drives in the outfield. Pros: this is a great glove if are not looking to spend a ton of money. looks great and is an all around great outfield glove
Cons: it does take a while to break in
DR
Pros: I was shocked at the quality of this glove. I purchased mine as "Used" from Just Ball Gloves as "Good Condition". This glove was slightly broken in when I received it, but it feels similar to the A2000 with the A2K softness. Feels like a large 12.75" with a deep pocket. Slowpitch Softball players...this size is perfect. Baseball players looking for a 12.75", this feels a little larger and I would recommend the 12.5".
Cons: Laces are soft.
Sneaky
Pros: This is a very high quality glove for a good price. The break in time was comparable to a Rawlings Pro Preferred (a little over 2 weeks). Still in great condition after about a year.
Cons: Laces are soft.
T
Pros: Very nice leather, stiff enough to be durable and feel high quality but didn't take a ridiculously long time to break in (I was specifically looking for a reasonably priced glove that requires some break-in). I would say it compares to significantly more expensive gloves from other brands. I use it for slow pitch softball with no problems... feels good playing catch-up with a baseball too.
Cons: None for my purposes!
