Pros: Very soft, stiff, leather. Absolutely no need for oiling this mitt. In fact, that would ruin the quality of this mitts' leather. This glove was very well crafted. The velcro strap never comes off. Great pop and quick transfer. Strong construction. Molds to your hand. If you're looking to step your game up, get this mitt. It was worth every penny.

Cons: Everything may seem a little tight at first, but it molds to your hand like a dream.

Pros: Extremely durable catchers mitt, Ive had this glove for 3 years and it has held its shape extremely well, catches high velocity with ease. Best glove on the market if you're a catcher.

Cons: Nothing, this glove took a while to break in initially, but that is not a problem at all, to me it shows high quality...I will never understand why people are like "Its really bad that it is hard to break in" ...well, its a high quality glove, did you expect it to be ready in a day or something? Yeah, great glove!

Pros: Great glove, at first didn't want it due to reported soft leather, but great leather long lasting, and strong...all laces have to be replaced eventually...don't use much oil, as new leathers don't seem to need it.

Cons: None, slow break in is actually really fast for the quality of glove.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the All Star Pro Elite 35" Baseball Catcher's Mitt: CM3000BT? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Where is it made? go sjm
This glove is made in the Philippines.
Brett
Is this a good glove for a high school catcher or would a smaller one be better? Bellarmine
The most common size catchers mitt for a High School age player is between 32.5 and 34 inches. Catcher Mitt sizes completely come down to the preference of the player. Some players prefer a larger mitt with a larger catching surface others prefer a smaller glove for quicker ball transfer. The choice is yours.
Brett
Would this be a good glove for a 14U traveling team? liltrivitt
A 35 inch catchers mitt would probably be too big for 14 and 13 year olds. The most common size catcher mitts for that age are around 32 or 32.5 inches. This size mitt is more common amongst players who prefer a larger than average mitt at the Collegiate, Professional and upper High School level.
Brett
I have been using a 34 inch Wilson a2000 with a two piece pocket (the older model) and have been thinking about switching to this All Star. So my question is 33.5 or 35? TimmyT
i would say you would be better off in the 33.5. 35 is a pretty big mitt.
Mark
I am 13 and 5'7", 145 lbs. Should I get the 32" or the 33.5"? Steve
That will be more of a personal preference. Both those sizes will fit it's just a matter of what you like and what feels better.
KG
Do All Star catcher mitts run "true" to size? They don't seem to have many in a 33" but other brands do. jsfbndr
They do stay true to their size. All Star gloves do come in 33", we are just currently out of stock at this time.
Ryan
Do you have any 33.5" mitts in stock? Baseball
The All Star MVP Series: CM3030BT, All Star Pro Series: CM3100SBT, and All Star Pro Series: CM3200SBT are the only 33.5" inch mitts we have in stock from All Star.
Tyler
When will you have a 33.5 in stock? Harley
Unfortunately, we will not be receiving any more 33.5" models of the All Star Pro Elite Series Catcher's Mitts for at least another 4-6 weeks.
Tyler
What is the difference between the CM3000BT and the CM3000XSBT? Sportsfan11511
The All Star Pro Elite Series: CM3000BT is a 35" model. The All Star Pro Elite Series: CM3000XSBT is a 32" model.
Tyler
The reviews on this glove look great. I am catching relatively fast pitching in an adult men's baseball league. I haven't caught since college and have no idea what size glove to order. Any suggestions? I'm 5'9" and 170 lbs. jan
With catcher mitts, a lot comes down to the personal preference of the player. However, the average size for an adult catcher's mitt is 33" to 34".
Tyler
My 13 year old son is looking for a new catcher's mitt for next year's baseball season and is aiming at this glove. He stands 5'3" and approx 110 lbs so I am concerned this glove is too big. Is this the right size and if not what is the model for his size/age? Bill
The All Star Pro Elite Series: CM3000BT will be too large for a 13 year old player. We recommend the All Star Pro Elite Series: CM3000XSBT Catcher's Mitt in a 32.00".
Kara
My son is 16 years old, 5'10", and 150 lbs. Can you tell me if he should go with the 35" or 33.5"? Oscar
Using the Glove Coach Feature on justballgloves.com I was able to determine that he should be using a 33"-33.50" Catcher's Mitt. The All Star Pro Elite Series: CM3000BT Catcher's Mitt is a 35". This model may be too large for a player his size.
Brandon
I've used a Wilson A2000 1790SS 34" for the last year. How much bigger does this mitt feel compared to this? Chris
The All Star Pro Elite Series: CM3000BT Catcher's Mitt is a 35" model that will fit the same as most 34" models, but will have a larger, wider pocket.
Tyler
I'm a college catcher. I'm 6'4". What size should I get: a 35 or a 33.5? Mattyice
Size of a catcher's mitt ultimately comes down to personal preference. If you order a size that doesn't work, you can send it back to us and exchange it for something that will work for you.
Zach
How come they do not make fielder's gloves in the Pro Elite Series? russel1
The All Star Pro Elite Series: CM3000BT Catcher's Mitt is a very popular mitt. At this time we do not know why All Star does not make gloves in the Pro Elite Series.
Brandon

The All Star Pro Elite Series: CM3000BT is a very durable mitt known to last 3+ years.
Tyler
What is the difference between this glove and the All Star CM3000SBT? player
The All Star Pro Elite Series CM3000BT is a 35" model. The CM3000SBT is a 33.50" model and the leather has been pre-oiled.
Mac
How long will it last? bbox
The All Star Pro Elite Series: CM3000BT Catcher's Mitt happens to be a amazing glove. I would expect it to last for many, many seasons.
Chad M
What are the sizes you sell this glove in? baseball3
The All Star Pro Elite Series: CM3000BT Catcher's Mitt is available in a 32.00", 33.50", and 35.00".
Kara
My daughter handles a 34" well, but catches a few wild pitchers. How much difference between 34" & 35" in catching a 12" ball? coachdad
The All Star Pro Elite Series: CM3000BT Catcher's Mitt is a baseball catcher's mitt. A 35" glove could be difficult to handle. We recommend a 34" fastpitch catcher's mitt. Here is a link to the gloves that are available: http://www.justballgloves.com/products/glove%20type~female%20fastpitch/sub%20type~catchers/size~34.00/
Kara
My 34" Mizuno has reached the end of the line, and I'm strongly considering this mitt as its replacement. I've heard it plays like a 34", but I was curious as to whether the size difference is that noticeable? My friend has a 33.5" A2000, and it feels a little small, so I was thinking go bigger? Eric
The All Star Pro Elite Series: CM3000BT Catcher's Mitt is a 35" model that will fit the same as most 34" models, but will have a larger, wider pocket
Kara
Do you sell this glove in 33.5"? If so, can I have a link to it? Z
The model number for the 33.50" is CM3000SBT. We are currently out of stock, but expect more in the next couple of weeks.
Aubrey
My daughter is 16 and about 5' tall. What size catcher's mitt should she use? Julie
Based on your daughter's age, we would recommend getting a 33'' female fastpitch catcher's mitt. For more information on sizing please visit our Glove Coach at http://www.justballgloves.com/glove-coach/.
Tori
What is the difference, if any, between the All Star Pro Elite Series: CM3000BT Catcher's Mitt and the All Star Pro Elite Series: CM3000? Cam
The All Star Pro Elite Series (CM3000BT) and the All Star Pro Elite Series (CM3000SBT) both use the same quality leather. The only difference between the two gloves is the size.
Kara
I use a PROSCM41JB 34.00", and it fits great. Would you prefer this glove, or the CM3000SBT? Michael C
The Rawlings Heart of the Hide Pro Mesh Series (PROSCM41JB) and the All Star Pro Elite Series (CM3000BT) are both quality gloves. The PROSCM41JB is lighter and easier to break-in. The CM3000BT is stiffer and will be more durable.
Kara
I am 14 and I play baseball in Australia. I play for my state and so on. Anyway, at training I have to catch to 14-28 year olds who throw the ball hard. Some are already going to colleges in the U.S. Would you recommend this glove having enough padding to get me through without my hand getting swollen like usual? druzick 48
Yes, the All Star Pro Elite Series (CM3000BT) has a very good amount of padding. You should be able to catch 14-28 year olds without your hand becoming swollen.
Sean
Which glove would you recommend when it comes to leather quality: the All Star CM8000BT or the Wilson A2000 Pudge? druzick 48
Both the All Star Pro Elite Series (CM3000BT) and the A2000 models have a tremendous leather quality. One does not have a better leather quality than the other.
Sean
I have a 33" mitt and looking into an All Star catcher's mitt. I play high school and travel ball. Would this mitt be to big for me? I am about 5'5" tall. Slayinator2000
That would be a big jump. If you are comfortable using a 33" model I would consider the All Star Pro Elite Series (CM3000SBT) Catcher's Mitt or the All Star Pro Elite Series (CM3000BSBK) Catcher's Mitt which are both 33.50" models.
Damon
I am a softball dad that catches for my 12 yr old daughter. Would I be able to catch a 12" softball with this glove in a 35" model? dad
The All Star Pro Elite Series (CM3000BT) Catcher's Mitt would be an ideal model for catching fast pitch softballs with. You could also take a look at the Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (A20RB151790SS) Catcher's Mitt.
Joe
How much does this glove weigh? Charlie
The All Star Pro Elite Series (CM3000BT) Catcher's Mitt weighs approximately 26.5 ounces.
Tessa
I'm 12, in the 8th grade, and going into high school. Would this mitt be too large for me? bdog99927
At 35.00", the All Star Pro Elite Series: CM3000BT Catcher's Mitt is going to be a bit too large. For a player of your age, I would recommend a catcher's mitt in the 32.00"-32.50" size.
Marcus
My son is 16, 6'1", 200 lbs and plays alot of baseball for high school and an elite team (18 year group). Would this work for him? jc
The All Star Pro Elite Series (CM3000BT Catcher's Mitt) would be a great glove to consider for the serious baseball player. May want to consider the smaller inch pattern of the All Star Pro Elite Series (CM3000SBT Catcher's Mitt) as it would be 33.50 compared to 35.00. Either one would be a great glove; all comes down to personal preference and feel.
Cameron
What kind of glove conditioner would be the best to use on this glove? I don't need to break it in I just need to keep the leather from cracking. DomingoAyala
Any glove conditioner will keep your All Star Pro Elite Series: CM3000BT Catcher's Mitt from cracking. I would recommend the Pro Soft Glove Conditioner.
Angelique
Does this glove fit like a 34" or is it different? Luke
Yes, this All Star Pro Elite Series (CM3000BT Catcher's Mitt) should fit a player's hand as a traditional 34" Catcher's mitt is designed to fit.
Ben
I'm 13 and catching on a select team. Would this mitt fit me well? joneybassball
The All Star Pro Elite Series: CM3000BT Catcher's Mitt is a 35.00 inch pattern. This catcher's mitt would not be a good fit for a 13 year old. Would recommend getting a 32.00 inch or 32.50 inch pattern.
Cameron
I'm 13 and catching on a select team. would this mitt fit me good? joneybassball
The 35" pattern of the All Star Pro Elite Series: CM3000BT Catcher's Mitt may be a bit large for a player at your age.

The All Star Pro Elite Series: CM3000BT Catcher's Mitt has a 35" pattern and the CM3000SBT has a 33.50" pattern.

Cameron
I'm 6'2" and 15 yrs old. I'm playing high school ball and another team as well. Would the 35" model work for me? Right now I have a 33.5" as my gamer. baseball player
The All Star Pro Elite Series: CM3000BT Catcher's Mitt could be a good fit for someone that prefers a larger catcher's mitt as this mitt will be 35 inches. In all comes down to personal preference and what each catcher feels like they can handle not only from a receiving/pitch framing standpoint but also the mitt/size that allows for a catcher to transfer the ball on a steal attempt.
Cameron
I am a member of the social baseball club. But unfortunately I am left-handed. However, I want the CM3000BT. Is there any way? Doesn't the manufacturer make it at all? tommy
As far as I know they don't make this is a left hand thrower model. You would probably have to call All Star directly and see if they can special make a left hand thrower model. Their customer service # is 1-800-777-3810.
