Pros: You need to get this glove. Best glove in the game
Cons: I swear there are no cons to this glove because the price is so good and it can be used for infield and outfield. It also holds its body for a long time with good pocket

The Preacher
Pros: Leather quality is better than most gloves in this price range Stitching is top rate Webbing is a good compromise choice This glove looks sharp!
Cons: Sizing seems slightly smaller than advertised - 11.50 feels more like an 11 Finger hole leather "feels" like a lesser quality leather than the outside of glove - a minor knock

Dad Jake parent
Pros: The glove arrived promptly, it is very well made, excellent quality leather. Took it to a store to have it steamed to soften it up my son loves it! It is his first top quality glove I'm pretty sure it will last him a lifetime.

Slimedart
Pros: Perfect glove for my 9 year old (He's a big 9 year old though). This is his first glove upgrade. took a day or two to be game ready. The glove has increased his confidence and made him better at catching the ball. Hold form well so far.
Cons: No palm padding or padding for pointer finger like the Rawlings Gold Glove series.
AMV218 Glove Tim from CA parent

Best glove ever!! ericgrannis9 player
Pros: The glove has a super soft feel. It feels great when receiving and ground ball. I have not had any problems with mine. I play college ball, and coach two little league teams. I basically use my glove everyday of the week. It is by far the best glove I have ever bought. I wont buy any glove besides Akadema now!

Pros: nice pocket
Cons: time to break it in
honest review Zack Andrukonis player
Pros: very soft leather easy to form a pocket. Ive been working with the glove for about 3 weeks breaking it in already have shaped and form the pocket to how i like. also the the leather is a little bit more thin so you have great feel for the ball. for 100$ bucks its good glove. ill come back with a review in a year. age(20)
Cons: since the leather is thin if you catch a heater youre likely to feel it. i had one problem with the stitching on the heel of the glove. the tag end on the side of the pinkey that gets tucked in came out. not any reason to send it back a simple fix. note it came out when i was working in the glove.
Janthonywes
Pros: Good quality glove, put together well.
Cons: The 11.5 glove is NOT an 11.5 glove. Its lucky if it is an 11. Very small. Also not as soft and game ready out of the box as some have suggested. If you are worried about size you MUST opt for the larger size.

About the Brand
In Akadema's short but remarkable history it has become one of America's hottest baseball and softball equipment company for professional, college, high school, and serious youth players. The Akadema phenomenon started with the Professional Glove Series and continues with the Reptilian®, Praying Mantis®, Pro Soft™ and Prodigy™ Glove Series as well as the Amish Wood™, Tacktion™ and Xtension® Aluminum Bat Series. Akadema's ownership attributes increasing market share to their innovative professional baseball and softball product line in contrast to mass-produced products that have little to do with quality, feel, or design to raise the level of play.
Akadema's products are manufactured for professional players but are now accessible to semi pro, college, high school, and serious youth players. Akadema products are still designed with the professional player in mind but competitively priced for the professional player at heart. So it's your turn to think like a professional, play like a professional, and use Akadema Professional!
Akadema now has both baseball and fastpitch softball advisory staffs that they work with closely to implement new ideas. Members of the baseball advisory staff include Hall of Famers Ozzie Smith and Gary Carter as well as Howard Johnson, Reggie Smith, Luis Polonia, Sandy Martinez and many others. Fastpitch stars that are on the advisory staff include Crystl Bustos and Julie Smith. The input on performance from the advisory staff gives Akadema something they cannot put a price on. Their advisors don’t talk about marketing or places to sell the gloves, they just care about performance.
