Pros: Top-quality steerhide shell and palm lining. This is a pro-quality, adult-sized glove meant to last. Not sure what the first reviewer meant by "cheesy"; I got the close-out brown color, so maybe it is/was better leather than the tan. Cons:Long break-in time due to very stiff leather and relatively thick padding.

Pros: Okay glove. It will get the job done and hold up for a few years I am sure. Cons:The leather feels a little cheesy. I would recommend spending $25 more and get the Pro Master Series or Rawling Gold Glove. You will get better leather and leathe finger linings.

Pros: Leather feels durable and smells great (remember your first, REAL glove as a kid?). The glove is put together in a sturdy fashion. The glove was a Christmas gift for my almost 14 yr. old son who is an avid ball player. He loves it and has had no trouble getting it broken in, without even using oil yet! He likes the looks and design of it as well; I agree. It feels like there is an extra layer of leather or something in the palm to prevent the sting of a hard hit/thrown ball. Whatever it is, it works. Cons:It would be nice if these gloves could be 'Made in the USA' for this price. I (like many) miss that.....but I also understand the business end of things.
