Louisville Slugger HD9 Series: FGHD14-CM130 Slow Pitch review by TomB
Pros: Durable, lightweight glove. The light color and mesh back help on hot, sunny days. Is game ready out the box, so if you do not want to shape and break in your glove to fit your style, this is a positive. Cons:Due to it being game ready, I was unable to break in and mold the glove to my preference. As the temperature rises, the glove seems to become too flimsy. After using Rawlings HoH for baseball, this glove was slightly disappointing in stiffness. Color also does not hide dirt in the palm (which is to be expected).

Product Description

Louisville Slugger creates some of the highest quality gloves on the market and their new Hybrid Defense 9, or HD9, series is no exception. The HD9 series follows one of the hottest glove styling trends over the past few seasons: the mesh back. The zero-gravity performance mesh back used on the HD9 is the same quality as used by many professional players. The advantage to zero-gravity mesh is that it provides a quicker break-in period and ultra lightweight feel compared to average gloves. The leather used on the rest of the glove is professional grade oil-treated cowhide that is tough and rugged, yet soft and comfortable. Inside, full grain leather linings help the glove keep it's shape and give players a phenomenal feeling. The HD9 series uses dye-through lacing to ensure that this is one of the most durable gloves you'll ever own. Louisville Slugger: Performance Products for Championship Performances! Free Shipping!
