The Easton Z-Flex Youth Series: ZFX1001 is slightly small for an 8 year old. We recommend a 10.50" glove for an 8 year old utility player.

The Easton Z-Flex Youth Series: ZFX1001 is an excellent glove for a six year old. It is very easy to break-in and is easy to open and close.
Is this suitable for a 4 year old girl, left-handed?
The Easton Z-Flex Youth Series: ZFX1001 glove will be a 10" model. Using the Glove Coach Feature on justballgloves.com I was able to determine that a left handed, 4 year old girl should be using a glove size of 9". Check out these gloves: Mizuno Prospect Series: GPP901 Youth, and Louisville Slugger Genesis 1884 Series: GENB900 Youth. Both 9" gloves will be very light weight and easy to close right out of the wrapper.

The Z-Flex Series employs the help of Easton's Grab All Web design that is 40% bigger than traditional webs on youth gloves. This ensures that once the ball hits the pocket, it's staying there!
