The Akadema Fastpitch Series does not come in any smaller sizes. The top fastpitch softball gloves smaller than 12" are the Mizuno Classic Fastpitch Series: GCF1151, Mizuno MVP Prime Fastpitch Series: GMVP1159P, Miken Super Soft Series: MS1134FP and Louisville Slugger TPS Valkyrie Fastpitch Series: VK1175.
WHAT BALL GLOVE DO YOU RECOMEND FOR A 9YEAR OLD GIRL FIRST YEAR OF PITCH STARTS NEXT YEAR AND WHAT SIZE 11.5, 11.75, OR 12 INCH GLOVE SIZE?
An 11.5" glove may be the best fit for her right now. However, if you want a glove she can still use now, but grow in to, I would recommend an 11.75" or 12" model. If she's a little bigger than average, I would go 12". If she's on the smaller side, I would go 11.75".
Does this glove seem hold up well? Any other recommendations for pitcher/ 2nd base combo?
The AJB74 is a well made glove, and should last well. Size wise it is the right size.
